Column operates in the business-to-business (B2B) industry. Unlike many companies and websites, Column does not focus on consumer users or the collection of consumer data. To the extent Column collects information online, our purpose is to better serve our business customers.

The Way Column Uses Information

Column does not rent or sell your information. Column uses information collected online in the following ways:

  • For information you provide directly, such as support requests, ordering information or e-mail messages, Column uses the information to respond to your orders and requests.

Column may use third-party storage or service-provider companies to perform some functions including the processing of data. Column utilizes a merchant gateway for payment processing on our web properties. Credit card information is not visible to any persons or people at Column Case Management. If you choose to use merchant gateway payment option to pay for your training course, its privacy policy and security practices will apply to your information. We encourage you to read that privacy policy before providing your information.

The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the Client has engaged Column Case Management.

Information Related To Data Collected For Our Clients

Occasionally Column collects information under the direction of companies that employ us to do so (“Clients”). Column has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes on behalf of its Clients. If you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by the Client that uses our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly. Column may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.

Access and Retention of Data Controlled by our Clients

Column acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. Column has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Column Case Managements’ Client, who is the data controller. If requested to remove data Column will respond within 30 days. Column will retain personal data that we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Clients. Column will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When Column Shares Your Information

Column will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. Column does not sell your personal information to third parties.

Column shares your information for business purposes only on a need-to-know basis and only with: (a) its own employees and affiliates; (b) the Client from which Column received the information; (c) Column subcontractors and consultants that have agreed to safeguard such information in a like manner to the way that Column safeguards such information and that have signed confidentiality agreements with us; and (d) other entities authorized to have access to such information under applicable law or regulation. Column does not share non-public individually identifiable information with third party marketers.

Column may disclose your information to protect our rights or property, protect your safety or the safety of others, to enforce our terms of use and legal notices, as required or permitted by law, or at the request of government regulators or other law enforcement officials and the courts (including the issuance of a valid subpoena), bankruptcy proceedings, or similar legal process.
